EAST PORTLAND  A comprehensive plan to enhance the quality of life in east Portland. Communitas was the lead consultant and co-facilitator for the East Portland Action Plan, a project to revitalize the fragile neighborhoods in outer Portland. Our team assisted the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability in creating a new model for community development plans with an efficient eight-month process. The result is a multi-year strategy of actions to improve land use, transportation, open space, public safety and public service provisions.
